A Wellspring is a source or origin of something, especially something valuable or abundant. The term is often used metaphorically to describe a rich, continuous supply of inspiration. It originates from the literal meaning of a spring of water that continuously flows and serves as a source of life and nourishment.

Wellspring aims to be a source of valuable and abundant inspiration and support for young people as they figure out who they are, what they want to know, and what they ultimately want to do with their lives.

IN-HOUSE PROGRAMME OF COURSES
See our timetable for our in-house programme of courses and facilitators
For young people who do not have specific ideas about what they want to learn, they can choose from our wide range of in-house courses, and customise their week accordingly. Children must sign a commitment to attend and participate in their chosen sessions, and will be held accountable for these commitments.

SELF-STUDY AT WELLSPRING
Members are welcome to work on their own projects whilst at Wellspring - these can range from completing a recognised academic curriculum, doing an online course of your choice, or even writing a book.
Students will have access to quiet workspaces with Wi-Fi connection, and our mentors will help them set self-study goals, and hold them accountable to their own goals. Students are also welcome to work together on a curriculum, and can ask Wellspring mentors questions, if stuck.

Wellspring is able to support children working on the GED as part of our Full Membership rate(exam costs to be paid separately, directly to GED)
Wellspring can also support children working on Cambridge or CAPS curriculum as part of our Full Membership rate (all curriculum-related costs and exam costs are for the parent's own account, payable directly to curriculum service provider)
CUSTOMISED COURSES
Members can request us to find suitable courses and course facilitators for any subject that may interest them. These courses to be hosted at Wellspring, but costs in addition to Wellspring Membership Fees, paid directly to the course facilitator.
The advantage of organising customised courses at Wellspring is that these costs can be shared across multiple interested parties, and children will not need to be transported elsewhere - the courses can occur during the Wellspring day.
